Please read these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms", "EULA") carefully before using Quro ("Quro", "the app", "Licensed Application"). These Terms constitute an agreement between you ("End-User") and Branko Popovic ("Licensor", "Developer", "we", "our") — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Licensed Application or its content. By downloading, installing, or using Quro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge that you have reviewed Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of Service
Quro is a mobile application for generating and customizing QR codes. It lets you create QR codes from content you provide (such as URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, and contact details), customize their appearance, save them locally on your device, and export or share them as images.
2. License
The Licensor grants you a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license does not allow you to use the Licensed Application on any device that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the Licensed Application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Licensed Application.
If you sell or transfer your Apple device to a third party, you must first remove the Licensed Application from the device. The terms of this license also govern any updates provided by the Licensor that replace or supplement the original Licensed Application, unless such update is accompanied by separate terms.
This license permits use through Apple's Family Sharing and volume purchasing programs where applicable.
3. No Account Required
Quro does not require account creation or sign-in, and does not collect personal information that identifies you. The QR codes you create, their content, and your settings are stored locally on your device. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Consent to Use of Data
The Licensor may collect and use technical data and related information — including but not limited to technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals — that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services related to the Licensed Application. The Licensor may use this information to improve its products or to provide services or technologies to you, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required to use such an app in your country, to use Quro. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
6. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
- You are solely responsible for the content you encode into QR codes and for how you use the codes you create.
- You agree not to use the app to create QR codes that link to or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious content, including phishing, malware, or scams.
- You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the app.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any images or content you incorporate into your QR codes (for example, logos placed in the center of a code).
7. User Content and Data
Quro does not require account creation or sign-in. All content you create (QR codes, their content, customization, and settings) is stored locally on your device. The only data transmitted off your device is anonymous analytics and crash reports, and the purchase information needed to manage subscriptions through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not collect data that identifies you. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Quro offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans and a one-time purchase ("Quro Premium") that unlock additional features and customization options.
- Plans: Monthly, yearly, and lifetime options may be available. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through your App Store account.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period.
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds: All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. We do not process refunds directly.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. You will be notified in advance and given the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.
9. Maintenance and Support
The Licensor (Branko Popovic) is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in these Terms or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
10. Warranty
The Licensed Application and any services performed or provided by the Licensed Application are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. The Licensor hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with respect to the Licensed Application, either express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement of third-party rights.
The Licensor does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every QR code generated will scan correctly on every device, scanner, or under all conditions. The Licensor does not warrant against interference with your enjoyment of the Licensed Application, that the functions contained in or services performed by the Licensed Application will meet your requirements, or that defects in the Licensed Application will be corrected.
In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the Licensor's sole responsibility.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Licensed Application, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.
- The Licensor shall not be liable for any losses or harm resulting from a QR code failing to scan, encoding incorrect content, or being used to access third-party content.
- The Licensor's total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the Licensed Application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Product Claims
The Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by the End-User or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or the End-User's possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks in Quro are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of the app without our prior written consent. QR codes you generate from your own content are yours to use.
The Licensor, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any intellectual property infringement claim relating to the Licensed Application.
14. Third-Party Services and Terms
Quro uses the following third-party services:
- Apple — For app distribution and in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
- Firebase (Google) — For anonymous analytics and crash reporting. Subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- RevenueCat — For subscription and purchase management. Subject to RevenueCat's Terms of Service.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application.
15. Export Compliance
You represent and warrant that: (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You may not use or otherwise export or re-export the Licensed Application except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensed Application was obtained.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, the content you encode into QR codes, or your violation of these Terms.
17. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated by you or the Licensor. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription — you must cancel through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. If the End-User is a citizen of the European Union, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the End-User's country of residence.
20. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
